Residual Chlorine and Chloramine Present in Water Can be Eliminated by UV Technology

Other Methods of Chlorine and Chloramine Removal

Popular methods of removal such as carbon beds or chemical injections have significant inherent drawbacks.

Carbon beds are excellent breeding grounds for bacteria to thrive and proliferate. Chemical additions like metabisulfite, involve removing one chemical with another and is therefore undesirable.

Neither is a simple or safe solution.
